When is the lever the problem?
The lever makes sure the lid closes and stays shut while brewing coffee. If your machine no longer closes properly, the lid pops open, or it no longer stays firmly shut, then this part is usually the cause. Often the plastic piece breaks off or the spring behind it weakens.
