It started with a leaking Senseo…

In 2008, I bought a secondhand Senseo on Marktplaats.nl. To my disappointment, the device was leaking. I ordered a second used Senseo, but to my surprise it had the same problem. Out of curiosity, I unscrewed the devices and discovered that both had a broken valve. I found a supplier for this part and the repair turned out to be a piece of cake. For a small amount and with a simple action, I had two working Senseos!

The birth of OnderdelenSenseo.nl

During my search for the part, I saw many forum posts on the internet from consumers with the same fault on their Senseo. I decided to make an instructional video of the repair and publish it online, with the option to order the required part directly from me. That was the beginning of OnderdelenSenseo.nl.

New generations, new problems, new solutions

Philips keeps bringing new generations of Senseos to the market, but they also sometimes have problems. For most of these, we can quickly find a solution that you as a user can perform yourself. Sometimes it involves replacing electrical components such as a capacitor, electrolytic capacitor or triac, in other cases mechanical parts such as a spring, the lever or the magnet in the float fail, or a drip tray or grate has gone missing.

On December 30, 2023, we stopped after 15 years. Nevertheless, the videos, descriptions, and technical manuals remain available.
