Does your Senseo no longer open or close?

If your Senseo no longer opens, there is a good chance this is because there is a blockage (a coffee grain) in the pod holder. Clean the pod holder thoroughly so that the hole is clear.

To open the lid when it is under pressure, you can proceed the same way as when replacing the valve. You only need to disconnect the small hose that runs to the spray head.

Afterwards you will need a new cable tie (tie-wrap) to secure the hose.
