Replacing the boiler

Carry out all steps with the plug removed from the wall socket!

The boiler of the HD7810 series is clamped into a bracket on both sides. You can bend that bracket slightly outward and then lift it out of its mount. The boiler is also clamped at the back into the housing of the casing. So once you have loosened the bracket, you can pull the boiler forward.

If you want to remove it completely, you first need to release the lid compartment. This is also clamped on both sides into the casing, and at the back it is fixed into the casing as well. Once the lid compartment is off, you can loosen the screws in the casing. Loosening the bottom is easiest with a socket screwdriver. Once the two screws are out, the bottom, which is clamped into the casing, can be released. This works the same way as the back panel against which the water tank rests. Now all the electrical connection points, and the connection to the sensor that runs to the circuit board, can be disconnected. Finally, disconnect the hose from the boiler.

Do keep in mind that water will come out of the boiler.
