Does your machine no longer produce a crema foam layer?

Check which model you have

If your foam chamber does not have a small ridge on the inside of the tray with plastic pins, foam output is lower. This ridge sits on the bottom of the tray with plastic pins, just in front of the outlet where the coffee flows over the edge downward. If your foam chamber has coffee flowing over a ridge, so to speak, you have the new model.

Clean the foam chamber

If the foam chamber is not clean, foam output can also be lower.

It could also be the pod holders

The old pod holders have a flat outlet hole through which the coffee flows. The new pod holders have a kind of little umbrella so that the coffee flows out at three points. The pod holders must be clean and the hole must be open. You can check this by blowing on it. If the problem still isn’t solved, it could also be that the pump pressure is too low.
