If the milk container shoots forward while making a cappuccino, the tab on the grey part that holds the milk container is broken. On the milk container there is a blue hook with a round end. This clicks into the grey part that has a tab on it. This tab, which is attached to that grey outlet container, is often broken.

If you switch on the machine and the boiler has warmed up, but when you press one or two cups of coffee the middle light blinks quickly 4 times, it means the lid is not closed properly. Often the cause is that the pod holder is not in place. Solution: take the pod holder with the pod out of the machine and place it back in position.

If you switch on the machine and the middle light keeps blinking slowly and you cannot brew coffee, there is a good chance the boiler has burned out. Solution: new boiler.

If you switch on the machine and the middle light keeps blinking quickly and the water tank is full, there is a good chance the magnet in the float inside the water tank is broken.

If you switch on the Senseo for coffee (not cappuccino) and only the middle light lights up and not both the lights for one and two cups, the cause is the small switch in the lid. The easiest way to temporarily fix this is to give the lid a firm tap with the flat of your hand. The lid must be closed and there must be a coffee pod in the machine. This makes the switch in the lid make contact again and the lights will light up.

If the coffee does not get warm, the cause is a number of components on the circuit board. Solution: repair kit (capacitor and electrolytic capacitor).
